What to do if you have audio issues in DaVinci Resolve

If your audio isn’t playing correctly in DaVinci Resolve, or if you hear static or other issues, there may be a problem with your audio device settings.

Here are a few quick tips to try if you’re having audio issues when using DaVinci Resolve:

  • Ensure your speakers and headset are plugged in correctly. Specifically, make sure that your speakers are plugged into the correct output.
  • Check your audio device drivers to ensure they are up-to-date and compatible with DaVinci Resolve. Keeping your system up-to-date is extremely important when maximizing compatibility and reducing the frequency of crashes.
  • Run a system scan to check for any issues with your audio settings, drivers, or hardware that could be causing the problem. This is one of the more likely issues users will face when experiencing audio issues.
